Some words ring true
some wait for their moment
stepping shyly into the air
some words trip us up
and make us burn inside
some pull out a cackle
and squinting knee slap
some words heal
showing up when we're broken and raw
some words hold us together
bring us together
or tear us apart
some words come straight
from the universe
direct through the heart.
may my words be a gift to any who hear
may our speaking be from love and free of fear.
